UCL Railway Research Group
Welcome to our website!
The UCL Railway Research Group is a part of UCL's Centre of Transport Studies. The group includes a wire range of researches with different backgrounds and is working on various railway-related issues.
We also run MSc Urban Railways programme.
We have also been working closely with research institutes, private and
public organisations locally and internationally.
Our research and
industrial partners include UK Department for Transport (DfT), Network
Rail, Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB), Transport for London
(TfL), Atkins, Arup, Ricardo Rail, and many other European and
international authorities and consultancies including Hong Kong MTR
Corporation and East Japan Railway Company (JR-East).
We have also been liaising with DfT, TfL, and Atkins in the UK and delivering regular courses on transport systems engineering and planning.
