Research Interests

My research looks at how we can form spin qubits in silicon quantum dot devices fabricated using a fully industrial manufacturing process. Using industrial CMOS devices to host qubits will allow easy scaling of qubits to the millions needed for practical quantum computing, as well as enable on-chip integration with the required classical electronics. In my work I study the characteristics and charge noise of quantum dots formed in commercial ICs and perform spin readout on such devices to characterise the spin relaxation times.

Interesting fact

I was born and raised on an island.
