Are you passionate about qualitative methods for health research?

Join the Qualitative Health Research Network (QHRN) Committee!

We are a cross-faculty and transdisciplinary initiative that supports the use and development of qualitative research in health, illness and care. We are one of the leading organisations in the UK that supports and promotes qualitative health research and has an international reach. We are run on a voluntary basis by researchers at UCL. The network is keen to have representation from individuals across all stages of the research career (including senior academics, who are currently under-represented).

The UCL QHRN is now recruiting new committee members.

The QHRN is made up of an executive committee and sub teams that each look after a specific aspect of the QHRN’s core business. We are looking for UCL members to join one or more of the following sub teams:

  • Communications: Managing the QHRN mailing list, email address and updating the website and twitter page with news and announcements
  • Seminars: Co-leading the organisation and running of regular QHRN seminars
  • Conference: Organising and running our next online conference currently planned for 2026
  • Critical workshop: Organising our next critical workshop
  • Training: Organising topics, facilitators and coordinating our twice-yearly training short courses.

Based at UCL and interested in joining us as part of the QHRN comittee? We would love to hear from you!

Please complete this expression of interest form to apply.
