What do we do?
Our lab works on developing and testing novel experimental treatments for traumatic stress, addiction and anxiety disorders. We use techniques from cognitive psychology, psychopharmacology and neuroscience to identify promising psychological and pharmacological procedures aimed at alleviating distressing symptoms caused by abnormal cognitive processes that are common to many psychological disorders.
Our funding has come from the Medical Research Council and The Sir Bobby Charlton Foundation.
