About

Why don’t we talk about Jung? Should we? Why should we? Freud once described Jung as ‘the man of the future’, but after their friendship ended he was consigned to the history of psychoanalysis. This presentation will explore the silence of the psychoanalytic literature on Jung’s significance and consider whether—in light of what psychoanalysis has to say about the significance of painful personal history—this is an issue that needs to be addressed.
