Research Interests

I am a full-time, NIHR North Thames funded PhD student investigating equity in service provision for people with dementia and their families. I have a particular interest in cultural and ethnic differences in experiences of dementia, and in improving dementia care and treatment for people from low- and middle-income countries and minority ethnic groups.

Alongside my PhD I work as a research assistant on the UCL START (STrAtegies for RelaTives) project, an eight-session, manualized intervention to support the development of coping strategies for carers of people with dementia. I have been involved in a project to widen access to START by delivering it to people from minority ethnic groups.
