Research Interests
My PhD focuses on investigating the impact of loneliness on psychological treatment outcomes for adults with depression and anxiety. My interest in loneliness research grew while working as a research assistant and later as a Trial Manager on the Community Navigator project, a programme of support to increase community connections and reduce loneliness for people with complex anxiety and depression. My PhD is funded by the ESRC and is supervised by Professor Bryn Lloyd-Evans and Professor Sonia Johnson. Dr Gemma Lewis, Dr Joshua Buckman and Dr Alexandra Pitman are part of my Thesis Committee.
