Research Interests
My PhD is looking at the sleep disturbances that people with dementia living in care homes experience. I am investigating how persistent these sleep disturbances are, what causes them, and what the consequences are, with the aim of informing how they should be managed. I will be using longitudinal data from the MARQUE (Managing agitation and raising quality of life) study.
I am funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), and supervised by Professor Gill Livingston (UCL), Dr Sergi Costafreda Gonzalez (UCL), Dr Julie Barber (UCL), and Dr Simon Kyle (University of Oxford).
