Join us as we discuss funding opportunities at the Medical Research Council (MRC) with Dr Laura Sibley, Programme Manager in the Neurosciences and Mental Health Board.
About the speaker: I have been working at the MRC since June 2023 and look after the Mental Health, Addiction and Neuroimmunology portfolio and manage grant applications. I also help with the oversight of strategic investments including the Mental Health Platform and the Adolescence, Mental Health and the Developing Mind Programme. Prior to working at the MRC I have ~15 years’ experience working in tuberculosis vaccine research, so my background is primarily infectious disease and immunology focused.
This event may be of particular interest to Early Career Researchers at UCL who are interested in applying to MRC and want to kbow more about submissions.
