YoungDementia UK is the only national charity dedicated to supporting people whose lives are affected by young onset dementia. Their website provides over 250 pages of information about young onset dementia, including the personal stories of people living with the condition and their family members, and links to useful websites, publications, blogs and resources.  It also contains a national listing of young onset dementia services and support groups located across the UK. They have created the Young Dementia Network to help connect people affected by young onset dementia and are active on Twitter and Facebook.

Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change by offering support that is right for you. Dementia UK is an organization that offers help and support for people living with dementia and their families. They do this through the Admiral Nurses (specialist dementia nurses) who work very closely with families in order to help them cope with fear, uncertainty and the difficult everyday reality of dementia. In this website you can find clear information about how to receive specialist one-to-one support and expert advice that will help you live more positively with dementia today and face with more confidence the challenges of tomorrow.   Some areas in England and Wales have Admiral Nurses. Innovations in Dementia

Innovations in Dementia are a community interest company that works collaboratively with people with dementia in order to influence approaches to dementia care and support. Their actions aim at making them more creative and positive so that people with dementia receive appropriate support and have the opportunity to learn new skills. The main goal is to allow people with dementia to experience all that life has to offer by being part of the decisions that affect their lives. 

DEEP Log

The Dementia Engagement and Empowerment Project (DEEP) aims at bringing together groups of people with dementia from across the UK in order to try to change the services and policies that affect their lives. It connects groups that work together to raise awareness about dementia with policy-makers, so as to influence local dementia practices and to change the existing attitudes about what it is like to live with dementia.

Join Dementia Research (JDR): The purpose of Join Dementia Research is to help beat dementia by bringing together researchers and people living with dementia who are interested in participating in research. In this website you can find important information about how to participate in dementia research, as well as personal stories of people who have already participated in research. If you wish, you can register your interest as a volunteer or sign-up for someone else provided that you have their consent.
