Do you want to get into a research lab and ask scientists about the incredible world-leading research they are performing? Do you want to learn more about what a scientific career actually looks like and where a physics or other science degrees might lead you in the future? Are you passionate about communicating science to the public and getting your family and friends to really understand why black holes are so awesome? Or are you secretly craving a way to combine your creativity and passion for the arts with your scientific interests? If this sounds like you, and you are in Years 10 or 11 in a UK secondary school, then come to the Phys Film Makers Summer School at UCL, and let's make some science YouTube videos!

Entry requirements

Academic entry requirements

Applicants must be in Years 10 or 11 and predicted to achieve 5 or more A*-C or 9-5 GCSE grades.

Eligibility criteria

Our events and activities are funded by UCL's Access Agreement and Widening Participation funds. As such, there are eligibility criteria that all applicants should consider before applying.
