Activities for Mature Students

The below events are aimed at students who will be aged 21 or over at the time of beginning their first (undergraduate) degree.

Mature Students' Tasters and Information Evening

9 November 2016, 4pm-7pm

Bookings for this event have now closed

UCL's annual Mature Students' Tasters and Information Evening provides prospective mature students with the opportunity to:

  • visit UCL
  • find out about Mature Student funding
  • gain tips for writing personal statements
  • attend a 40-minute subject taster session
  • meet current mature students

Subjects included in the taster sessions for this event are:

  • Nutrition and Medical Sciences
  • Population Health
  • Law
  • Educational Studies
  • Security and Crime Sciences

You can find out about entry requirements (including for Access courses) for all undergraduate degrees by visiting our online undergraduate prospectus. The online prospectus also has contact details for admissions tutors for each subject.

This event will be held on the UCL main campus on Gower Street.


Mature Students' Personal Statement Evening

24 November 2016, 4pm-7pm

The Mature Students’ Personal Statement Evening offers prospective mature students the chance to receive advice from academic staff on how to write an effective personal statement from a university’s perspective, and to participate in workshops that allow you to plan and begin drafting your own personal statement.

This event will be held on the UCL main campus on Gower Street.
