Please ensure you have spoken with your school or institution to help notify the examination boards as soon as possible.

Discussing your application FAQs
-
We will not be able to discuss your application with any third parties without your written permission due to data protection legislation.
If you will be away over the results period and you would like to give UCL permissions to speak to a specific person about your application, you will need to contact us via our Admissions contact form with:
- your name
- UCAS PID number
- the programme applied for
- the name of your nominated contact
Once we have the above information, we will be able to speak with the named contact on your behalf.
Please note the nominated contact listed on your UCAS form does not permit UCL to speak to them about your application.
Changes to your offer FAQs
-
Unfortunately, you cannot swap your offer replies at this stage. Once your Firm choice confirms your place, your Insurance offer is automatically declined by UCAS, even if you met UCL’s conditions.
-
UCL is happy to consider deferral requests (note that deferral requests for the Slade School of Fine Art cannot be considered). We are unable to defer offers that are still conditional from July onwards. If you hold an unconditional firm offer and wish to defer, please contact us with the following details:
- your full name
- UCAS personal ID number
- the programme you've applied for
- a brief outline of the reasons for your deferral request
Deferral requests should be made no later than 1 October 2025. If you do not hold an unconditional offer at the point of requesting a deferral, you will need to submit evidence of meeting your offer conditions before we can consider your request.
If your request is approved, the Undergraduate Admissions team will then update your record. You will then need to log into UCAS Hub to accept this change.
-
We cannot guarantee programme change requests at this stage. If we are able to agree the change, we will confirm this is the action you wish to take before we update your offer. All programme change requests are subject to there being space available on the new programme.
In some limited cases it may be possible to change your programme of study after you enrol. This would be dependent on available space and the qualifications that you hold. Please approach the relevant academic department to discuss this after enrolment.
By joining UCL you should expect to study the programme for which you currently hold an unconditional offer.
Student visas FAQs
-
If you have firmly accepted your offer, you will have received an email inviting you to check the details which will be used to generate your CAS. Please ensure you have checked the details we hold for you in the Applicant Portal. Your CAS will be issued once your offer is Unconditional Firm and your qualifications have been verified.
We cannot expedite CAS numbers. We strongly encourage offer holders not to book visa appointments or flights until they are in receipt of their CAS number.

- James Lighthill House
- Ian Baker House
- Ramsay Hall.
Under 18s will not be allocated to twin rooms or to University of London Hall places.
If you are an insurance applicant with Additional Requirements , you will be guaranteed a place in halls.
