All our students can participate in the Global Citizenship programme, a free programme that takes place after the summer exams.
UCL's Global Citizenship Programme offers you the chance to put your studies in a global context, learn new skills and see the world differently, and is designed to help you prepare for the world beyond graduation.
You’ll work collaboratively, in inter-disciplinary groups, to understand the challenges posed by real-world problems, contribute to finding solutions and develop the qualities of a global citizen.
In this video students and staff talk about the opportunities available through the UCL Global Citizenship Programme.
Helping you to become a global citizen
During the programme, you'll tackle some of the key global questions that also occupy UCL's world-leading researchers, in areas such as Global Health, Sustainable Cities, Human Wellbeing and Intercultural Interaction.
You'll work together in interdisciplinary teams with students from across UCL, coming up with ideas to solve problems related to our Grand Challenges – for example, designing a greener city or tackling an epidemic.
In your second year and beyond you can focus on building your skills for life after university, and there are great opportunities to work with external organisations such as charities and global employers.
