The Student View
"I chose my degree because I liked the mix of business, IT and computer science. It's an incredibly employable degree that equips you with the skills of the job market. It's also ever evolving so what we're studying is usually very up to date.
"I heard about the opportunity to go on a year-long placement at Cisco, in California, when the senior vice president of the organisation visited UCL to discuss this opportunity.I had heard from students who completed the placement that it was the best year of their life - so I decided to apply.
"On the placement I worked as a business analyst, visualizing how employees collaborate within the organisation. I also got to work on stretch projects such as marketing for an internal security app and volunteering at local San José schools."
Sara Berkai, Information Management for Business MSci (2018)
