How to apply

The online appliciton portal for the 2019 UCL Summer School will apper here on November 30th 2018.

Making an application

Once you have identified the module(s) you would like to study, we advise you check with your home institution before you submit your application as your home institution will decide how much credit, if any, they will award for your module(s).

Applications are still open, but students who need a visa to study in the UK are advised to apply at least a month before the start date of their chosen module (whether Session One or Session Two).

Module selection

When completing the application form, you will be asked to identify two modules: a 'preferred' module and an 'alternative' module. You will only study one module in each session but all modules are subject to minimum participation requirements and maximum capacity numbers.

Completing your application

Please refer to our Application Guidelines (pdf) to help you complete your application form.

To complete your application you will need to:

  1. select a preferred module and alternative module;
  2. submit your academic qualifications/transcript;
  3. submit your English language qualification (if applicable);
  4. write a personal statement (approximately 250 words);
  5. pay the application fee

If you are not able to complete the application form immediately, you can save the form, log out and return later. Before submitting an application, please ensure that all sections are complete and includes all relevant documentation.

If you are unable to obtain a transcript, please upload an academic reference including comments on your academic standing and predicted grades.
