Information for Prospective Students
CONICYT UCL Graduate Fellowship
UCL part-funds a number of awards in conjunction with CONICYT. These awards are available for PhD and Master's programmes. UCL offers a scholarship worth 25% of the tuition fee to scholars whose tuition fees are paid by CONICYT under their standard award programme, with CONICYT contributing towards the remaining fee and providing a stipend.
Note that students in the UCL Institute of Education (IOE) who started their current programme prior to the 2016/17 academic year are not covered by this agreement.
For further information on the application process, please refer to the CONICYT website www.conicyt.cl/becas-conicyt.
Applications for these awards should be made directly to CONICYT, following their established procedures. Applicants must apply directly to UCL for a place on a programme of study at the same time. Applicants selected by CONICYT, who are also offered a place at UCL, will then automatically qualify for the fellowship.
