CONACYT UCL Graduate Fellowship

Information for all applicants

UCL is in the process of renewing its agreement with CONACYT for 2016/17.

We are expecting to confirm the details of the agreement at the start of June 2016.

The exact value of the UCL tuition fee contribution will be confirmed on this page as soon as the renewal agreement is signed.

Under our current agreement, up to the end of the 2015/16 academic session:

UCL part-funds a number of awards in conjunction with CONACYT. These awards are available for PhD and Master's programmes. UCL offers a scholarship worth 25% of the tuition fee to scholars whose tuition fees are paid by CONACYT under their standard award programme, with CONACYT contributing towards the tuition fee and providing a stipend.

Please note: Students studying at the UCL Institute of Education who started their programme in 2015 or earlier will not be eligible for the UCL scholarship contribution, as they are covered by the pre-existing CONACYT/IOE agreement.

Applications for these awards should be made directly to CONACYT, following their established procedures. Applicants must apply directly to UCL for a place on a programme of study at the same time. Applicants selected by CONACYT, who are also offered a place at UCL, will then automatically qualify for the fellowship.

For further information on the application process, please refer to the CONACYT website
