Important information for all applicants
Founded in 2010 by a private donor to assist Iranian nationals to undertake Master's study at UCL. One award is available per year.
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- have successfully completed undergraduate-level studies in Iran and be an Iranian national;
- be intending to pursue full-time taught Master's study at UCL and - by the date of the scholarship application deadline - hold an offer of admission to a full-time Master's degree programme at UCL.
Please note that preference will be given to students intending to study within the Department of Economics.
Value: Benefits and Duration
The value of the scholarship is £25,000 for one year. Payment will be applied to tuition fees in the first instance, with any remainder to be paid to the recipient in termly instalments for maintenance.

Selection and Notification of Results
The scholarship will be awarded on both academic merit and financial need.
The scholarship will be awarded by the Council upon the recommendation of an academic selection panel.
Notification of Results
Successful and reserve candidates can expect to be notified by email from June onwards.
We are unable to inform unsuccessful applicants. If you do not hear from UCL Student Funding Office by the end of June, please assume your application has been unsuccessful.
