The UCL Faculty of Brain Sciences offers a variety of postgraduate research programmes that enable you to undertake substantial, in-depth research and make an original contribution to your field. Across our range of PhD, MRes and Professional Doctorate programmes, you will be supervised by internationally respected academic staff and work alongside other outstanding students.
Our research training is often cross-disciplinary to address critical research challenges such as dementia and mental health, allowing students to take full advantage of the range of expertise and facilities distributed within and beyond the Faculty. We train our students to apply relevant research outcomes to maximise the impact of their research on policy and practice and ensure they understand the importance of research integrity and ethics.
We have a number of funded studentships available and many programmes also accept self-funded students. For more information about the area in which you are interested, please follow the links below to our Institute websites which will have more information on the programmes available and staff who may be available to supervise your studies.
