General entry requirements for taught master’s degrees

In the UK the grading system for undergraduate degrees is as follows:

• First-class honours (1^st class)
• Upper second-class honours (2:1)
• Lower second-class honours (2:2)
• Third-class honours (3^rd)

UCL entry requirements for graduate level programmes are usually listed with reference to the UK grading system.
