Quality improvement in health care

This distance-learning module on Quality Improvement is relevant to development and improvement in all health care systems. Drawing largely on UK/European and North American literature, participants will explore the theories and methods of healthcare quality improvement. This module will enable participants to appraise these theories in the context of their own organisational setting to understand what initiatives could improve the quality of health care delivered. Participants will be required to participate in online discussions, one online virtual seminar and submit one written assignment reflecting on their understanding, and application, of quality improvement.
