Recently Dr Tom Witney presented at the IUSTI Europe Congress in Athens as part of the The British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH) symposium on Gender & Sexual Minority Health.
His presentation explored trans and nonbinary people’s perspectives on sexual health services in the UK, drawing on recent research from the Health Protection Research Unit on Blood Borne and Sexually Transmitted Infections (HPRU BBSTI). The session highlighted key challenges and opportunities for delivering more inclusive and responsive care.
Dr Witney spoke alongside Dr Kate Nambiar and Dwayne-Wilson Hunt, whose contributions brought valuable clinical and intersectional insights to the symposium.
