The world’s first business school dedicated to health, UCL’s Global Business School for Health (GBSH), has announced the appointment of Dr Anjali Bakhru as the new Executive Programme Health MBA Director. She brings a wealth of experience as an MBA Programme Director at institutions including Imperial College Business School and has more recently focused on emerging tech, providing strategic and investment support to cleantech startups and is the former Multidisciplinary Engagement Lead in the Faculty of Engineering at UCL.
As Executive Programme Health MBA Director Dr Bakhru will bring a proven track record in strategy, innovation and leadership to drive forward GBSH’s exceptional Executive MBA student offering as the world’s first business school dedicated to healthcare leadership and management.
The Executive Programme Health MBA brings together the academic heritage of UCL’s world-class research and teaching, with practical business and executive leadership skills for professionals looking to take their career to the next level. It is designed for busy professionals who are seeking a world-class specialist business education while continuing or pivoting their careers in health systems. Students will gain the knowledge, skills, and behaviours found on a world-class MBA programme, with in-depth understanding of global health ecosystems.
As leader of the UCL GBSH Executive Programme Health MBA, Dr Bakhru will work to lead and develop the programme, where students are able to develop their understanding of business and develop key skills in leadership and innovation which they can apply to their current and future practice in healthcare.
