In this article, UCL GBSH programme director Nora Colton reflects on the COVID-19 pandemic, and how the past few years have highlighted a need for more top-level healthcare professionals.
Nora also explores other impacts to global health outside of the pandemic, such as ageing populations, climate change and inequalities in wealth.
The UCL GBSH was created in response to a global healthcare crisis, and as Nora explains, "Our goal is to take a different approach to training the next generation of healthcare professionals who will lead public, private, and not-for-profit organizations around the world."
The UCL MBA Health has been particularly designed to train the healthcare leaders of the future. The programme provides students with management skills associated with a traditional MBA, with the ability to specifically apply those skills to the healthcare sector.
