25th European Nephrogenesis Workshop

The European Nephrogenesis Workshop provides an excellent forum for young investigators (PhD students and post-docs) to present their on-going work in a friendly environment. Primarily focused on kidney development, the workshop has expanded in recent years to include researchers working in the stem cell field, vascular biology, models of renal disease and novel therapeutic interventions.

The day will consist of oral presentations of submitted abstracts. There will also be an area for posters to provoke discussion. Abstract Submission

If you would like to submit an abstract, please mail them to ich.dbc.admin@ucl.ac.uk and d.long@ucl.ac.uk by June 26th 2026 with an attachment containing: 

Title of presentation (in simple English and avoid abbreviations if possible) 

Authors (use first and last names for each author and give their brief Institute affiliations; underline the presenting author and give their contact email and whether they prefer a poster or oral presentation).

Body of abstract (up to 200 words and no images; define key abbreviations)

Registration

The workshop will be free for PhD students and £40 for all other attendees to cover the cost of lunch and refreshments. Attendees need to cover their own transport and accommodation. Additionally, as part of the MRC Rare Disease Network Rare Early Onset Lower Urinary Tract Disorders – REOLUT – Rare Disease Research UK we will be hosting a free pre-meeting workshop on the afternoon of Thursday July 9th at 2pm on rare early onset lower urinary tract (REOLUT) disorders. This half-day meeting will comprise: an overview of the REOLUT Node, short presentations of ongoing and planned genomic, biology and novel therapy research, and a PPIE session.
