This is a hybrid event, being held in person at the University of London, Senate House, Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HU and also online
The EGA Institute for Women’s Health & UCLH Women's Health Division 20th Annual Conference will be a showcase of high-quality research undertaken by UCL Institute for Women's Health & UCLH that will take place as a hybrid meeting, with over 250 spaces for in person registration and the rest online remotely via Zoom.

Event details
This year the format will include oral presentations from IfWH/UCLH Researchers presenting their work, and undergoing a Q&A session. Presentations will be judged by our panel, and prizes awarded for the overall best performances.
In addition to this, as like every year, we will have our poster presentations and prizes, as well as highlights from our Institute staff of the high profile research that has been undertaken.
Furthermore, this year we will be hosting a Debate and two Key Note Lectures from externally invited speakers of clinical and academic backgrounds.

In order to illustrate the successes and achievements of the UCL Institute for Women’s Health and UCLH Women’s Health Division, the meeting will be recorded.

Call for Abstracts
Do you have an audit. quality improvement project or research project carried out over the past year which you would like to showcase?
Selected abstracts will be invited to present, either orally or as a poster, at the EGA Institute for Women's Health & UCLH WH Division 20th Annual Conference 2025, which is taking place in person at Senate House, on Friday 5 December 2025.

- Please note, all abstract submissions should be in PDF only.
- Please remember to indicate in the “Abstract Type” section whether you would like to be considered for an oral presentation and/or for a poster presentation. (Please note, submissions for the oral presentation option are for early-career researchers/PhD students only).
* Please note, this conference will be an open meeting, so we advise you to speak with supervisors regarding any potential regulations related to intellectual property, before submitting abstracts *
The extended deadline for submitting abstracts is to Monday 17th November 2025 at 9.00 am. You will be informed in due course of the outcome of your submission.

Director of the Centre for Reproductive Health, Institute for Regeneration & Repair, The University of Edinburgh
'Pioneering Non-Hormonal Strategies for Endometriosis: From Bench to Bedside'
Andrew is Director of the Centre for Reproductive Health at the University of Edinburgh. He is a leading researcher in women’s health problems, with a focus on endometriosis and pelvic pain, and has published over 200 peer-reviewed scientific articles. He is President of the World Endometriosis Society and Trustee to Endometriosis UK.

Dr Tim Child
Associate Professor of Reproductive Medicine
Nuffield Department of Women's and Reproductive Health, University of Oxford
Tim is Associate Professor of Reproductive Medicine in the Nuffield Department of Women’s and Reproductive Health at the University of Oxford. He has published more than 100 research papers and has brought new treatments and techniques to the UK, increasing both the success and safety of fertility treatment.
As the clinician on the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) committee, he helped develop the NICE Fertility Guidelines, setting out evidence-based recommendations for the NHS to follow. In 2008 Tim co-founded the award-winning University of Oxford MSc in Clinical Embryology. In 2021, he was appointed by the Secretary of State for Health to the board of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), the UK’s regulator of assisted conception treatment and research. Tim Chairs its Scientific and Clinical Advances Advisory Committee (SCAAC), responsible for the IVF Add-Ons traffic light system. Tim co-founded TFP Fertility, growing it from 2 to 20 IVF clinics across 6 countries before leaving in 2023.
