Please join us at Professor Pranav Pandya's Inaugural Lecture for his appointment of Professor of Fetal Medicine at University College London, EGA Institute for Women's Health entitled "A Suitable Boy?" at the Darwin Lecture Theatre, Darwin Building, Gower Street, London, WC1E 6BT.

Professor Pranav Pandya is a consultant and clinical lead in Fetal Medicine at University College London Hospitals. He is also Chair of the Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme Advisory Group (FASP) at the National Screening Committee (NSC). Pranav has had a national and global impact in the field of Fetal Medicine policy development, implementation of evidence-based care, training and research.
Pranav has been the clinical lead and director of the Fetal Medicine Unit (FMU) at UCLH since 2007. He has developed and introduced new clinical services, collaborated in research, promoted education and expanded the multidisciplinary team. He has led on providing a full spectrum of fetal medicine services with the aim of providing the highest standard of care to women and their unborn babies in the FMU at UCLH.
Since 2010, Pranav has developed and implemented evidence-based standards to optimise prenatal screening at the Fetal Anomaly Programme (FASP) and was appointed Chair of the FASP in 2012. He has been centrally involved in changing the screening tests and routine obstetric ultrasound offered to all pregnant women in England.
