The Meeting will take place on Monday 28th March 2022 in the Kennedy Lecture Theatre, UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health and will conclude with the Peter Thorogood Memorial Lecture given by Professor Alfonso Martínez Arias.

Following the 1987 BSDB Meeting on "Craniofacial Development" organized by Peter Thorogood and Cheryll Tickle, the organizers and other colleagues (Andrew Lumsden, Mark Ferguson, Gudrun Moore, Alisdair Ivens, Julian Lewis and Gillian Morriss-Kay) decided to start holding annual informal meetings to increase communication between laboratories working on various aspects of the development of the head, to offer the opportunity to young scientists to present their work in a friendly and stimulating environment and promote collaborative research.
The group has met annually since 1989, and the initial number of participants, about 20 people, rose very rapidly through word of mouth with more groups asking to be included in the mailing list. Over the last few years there have always been over one hundred people attending the Meeting.
If you wish to present your work (20 minutes slot, 15 minutes presentation plus 5 minutes discussion), please email the title and abstract of your presentation and your full affiliation to ICH Events by 4th March 2022. All presenters are required to register on the event; please see registration options available below.
Please remember that slots are allocated on a "first come first served basis". Hence, early registration is recommended.
The registration fee for the 2022 meeting is £30 and includes a programme, refreshment breaks, lunch and event administration. Payment to be made in advance either by IDT (for UCL members only) or by credit/debit card.
Payments can cover the contribution for all the participants from the same laboratory, but full names of all registrants must be provided. You are welcome to email ICH Events expressing your interest in attending, but please note that registration is complete only upon payment.
