We will talk about available PhD Programmes running within the UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science and be ready to answer all your questions regarding applications, funding, interviews etc for each of our programmes.

The heart is a fascinating organ to study in terms of development, structure and function.

Our current PhD students study a vast range of research topics including cardiac development, cardiovascular health as we age, protection from ischaemic injury, electrophysiology and heart muscle disease, advanced imaging and machine learning, device design and cardiovascular engineering, translational genomics and gene annotation, myocardial repair and regeneration and well as novel treatments for associated pulmonary vascular disease.
