Policy

Analysis of the long-term care (LTC) policy development process for pilot LTC sites in China will be carried out, to identify the policy narrative, framing and understanding of how it changes over time.

Analysts will also work with the modelling team to assess the extent to which the stated policy intentions, and established pilots, are likely to meet projected needs. This would offer a broad view of the extent to which LTC policy is addressing need.

Recent studies of long-term care in China, the UK, Japan and Germany provide a strong evidence base for this work.
