UCL Central and Eastern European Health Research Group

The Central and Eastern European Health Research Group focuses on the determinants of health and the inter-societal effects of social factors on health in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia.

The group also leads a major population cohort study on health and ageing: Health, Alcohol and Psychosocial factors In Eastern Europe (the HAPIEE Study) involving over 35,000 men in Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania and Russia.
