We provide state-of-the-art flow cytometry analysis and sorting services to support UCL and partner researchers across biomedical sciences.
Located in dedicated laboratories at the Zayed Centre for Research into Rare Disease in Children (ZCR), the facility is part of the UCL Flow Cytometry Science Technology Platform.

BOOK OR REGISTERGetting Started with the GOSICH Flow Cytometry Core Facility
Step 1: Review the Basics. Start by visiting this website to familiarize yourself with our services and policies. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Step 2: Register on PPMS. Create an account on our online booking system, PPMS, by clicking the “BOOK OR REGISTER” link.
- Initial Access: Your new account provides immediate access to our two Analysis Computers.
- Visibility: You will not see the Analysers or Sorters on your dashboard yet. The Analysers are unlocked only after training or consultation.
Step 3: Consult with the flow cytometry Team. Contact us via email or phone to discuss your project goals. We will provide an initial induction and help determine the best approach for your experiments.
Step 4: Facility Access & Booking
- Cell Sorters (Staff-Operated): These instruments are operated exclusively by facility staff. To book a sorting session, please contact us directly via email or phone.
- Cell Analysers (Independent Use): To use these independently, you must complete hands-on training.
- Log in to PPMS.
- Submit a Flow Cytometry Training Request.
- Once training is complete, the Analysers will appear in your account for independent booking.
