The Microsoft Excel spreadsheets contained on the following pages accompany the CASC short course 'Sample Size Estimation and Power Calculations in Excel'. The section numbers given below relate to the associated sections in the course notes, within which formulae and calculations are given.
If you click on any of the sections below, you will be taken to a page containing excel spreadsheets (all .xls format) for each of the sample estimates referenced in that section (e.g., single mean, difference between two means, single rate, time-to-event, etc.).
