Bookable study room at the UCL GOSICH library
The UCL GOSH ICH Group Study Room is now bookable
The room has 8 pop up computers and a projector. Each desk has a plug. There is a window that can be opened. The room is quiet but not soundproof.
Opening hours
The library is open 9:00am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.
UCL GOSH ICH staff, Research students and GOSH staff are granted out of hours access to the library when it is unstaffed at the following times:
Monday-Friday: 6:00 pm to 10:45 pm Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
To request out of hours access, please do so when joining the library, you will need to visit and one member of library staff will give you a fire evacuation tour of the library and you will need to sign a local induction and familiarisation form. If you are already a library member please email ich.library@ucl.ac.uk and we will arrange a time for you to come in and have the fire tour.

Accessibility
The Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health Library is based on the Second Floor of the Institute of Child Health. A lift is available to the Second Floor. Access to the Library is via five clearly marked steps with a handrail. There are five height adjustable desks available, although one desk can only be used by GOSH staff as it is attached to a PC that is networked for the NHS Trust.
There are no safe evacuation routes for those that are not able to use the stairs. If you are unable to use the stairs in an emergency, please place a fetching request for required material by emailing the Library Accessibility team.
Accessible toilet facilities are available on every floor of the building.
