Discover funding support available for students applying to the MSc in Cardiovascular Science at UCL, including bursaries for Home, Overseas, and Widening Participation applicants.
MSc Cardiovascular Science Bursary
We are pleased to offer three bursaries of £2,000 each to support students joining the MSc in Cardiovascular Science at UCL in September 2025. These awards will be applied directly to tuition fees.
Who can apply
To be eligible, applicants must hold either a conditional or unconditional offer to study the MSc in Cardiovascular Science on a full-time, part-time, or modular/flexible basis for entry in September 2025.
Available bursaries
- 1 Overseas bursary – for applicants with overseas fee status.
- 1 Home bursary – open to all applicants with home fee status.
- 1 Home Widening Participation bursary – for home fee-status applicants from under-represented backgrounds in higher education.
Widening Participation criteria
The Widening Participation Bursary is designed to support students who may face additional barriers to postgraduate study. Applicants may be eligible if they meet one or more of the following criteria:
- First in their family to attend university or college
- Currently or previously in local authority care, or a young carer
- From an ethnic minority background
- From a low-income household
- Living in an area with low progression to higher education (based on postcode)
- Participant in a university-led outreach or access programme
- Mature student who meets any of the above criteria
Selection criteria
Bursaries will be awarded based on academic excellence. All eligible applicants will be assessed on the strength of their academic record and potential.
