The Unit for Lifelong Health and Ageing at UCL was established in 2008 and Nish Chaturvedi has been director since 2017.
The mission of the unit is to identify biological and social factors that affect lifelong health, ageing and the development of chronic disease, and to use findings to design and test interventions that enhance healthy ageing. This is achieved through collaborative work across three research themes: Brain Health, Society & Health, and Cardiometabolic Health.
