Pentland Scholarship 

Value: Each scholarship is worth £52,605 with the award being made in sterling.

To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants:

  • Should be residents of a low or middle-income country, as defined by the World Bank in the year of application. (See: https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org/knowledgebase/articles/906519-world-b....)
  • Be able to demonstrate a commitment, via their past record or future plans, to improving public service and administration for the populations of low or middle-income countries.
  • Submit a successful full application for the MPA in Public Administration and Management by 10 May 2023.

How to apply: Applicants wishing to apply for one of the Pentland Scholarships 2023/24 for the MPA in Public Administration and Management, should submit the attached form along with a CV (no more than four A4 pages) to polsci.pg@ucl.ac.uk by the deadline of 12pm, 15 April 2023. Please note, the UCL School of Public Policy will first establish a long-list of potentially eligible candidates, each of whom will be interviewed online in April 2023. Successful candidates from that round will then be interviewed by a final selection panel including representatives from the funders.


GREAT Scholarship

Value: £11,000 (1 year)

Eligibility: Overseas

Criteria:

  • Based on academic merit
