Biography

I am a Lecturer (Teaching) in in the Department of Political Science and the School of Public Policy at UCL. I earned my PhD in Government and International Affairs from Durham University. I hold an MSc in International Political Economy from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). I also have an MA in International Relations and a BA in Political Science from La Sapienza University of Rome.

Research

My research focuses on the role of government agencies in shaping regulatory approaches to innovation, as well as the decision-making mechanisms that underpin these approaches. In my research I discuss how regulatory agencies evaluate technologies and innovation, as well as the factors that influence their decisions. I also conduct research on the communication of innovation, with a particular focus on how communication is tailored to specific audiences.
