Biography
Sukmo is a PhD candidate in Political Theory. He holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea and a master’s degree in Political and Legal Theory from a joint program by the University of Warwick and Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona.
His doctoral study focuses on the democratic legitimacy of sovereign referendums, especially in fusion cases such as a unification. More broadly, he is interested in contemporary analytic political philosophy, neo-republican democracy, and constitutional democracy.
