Careers Week: Developing International Careers

This will be a 45 min session with approximately 45 min dedicated to Q&A. Join Dasha Amrom of Career Coaching Ventures for a session dedicated to developing an international career. Landing a job at international institutions, such as the United Nations and EBRD; international consultancies such as McKinsey, BCG Group, Bain & Co; banks such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and suchlike has always been a challenge- now even more so. In this session you will explore how to structure your applications correctly, how to tackle challenging application form questions specific for these institutions. In particular, you will look at the challenges that the international dimension of these companies and organisations pose to candidates. The session will comprise of a 50-minute lecture followed by about 30 minutes for questions. This will be part of the basis for the practical session on Wednesday.

Dasha Amrom is the Founder and Managing Director of Career Coaching Ventures, a career and business coaching consultancy. She has worked in consultancy, marketing, and sales for over 13 years for many large international companies and has assisted many entrepreneurs in their social digital marketing and branding strategies and sales training of their employees. She specializes in supporting CV and cover letter writing and coaches on the most effective interview techniques.
