Careers Week: Alumni Panel - Working with the Public Sector and NGOs
19 May 2021, 11:00 am–12:00 pm
Careers in the public sector and NGOs can take many forms that are as diverse as the sector themselves. It sometimes might seem almost impossible to know where to start when you are seeking a role in this arena. In this panel we will explore the paths of alumni in vastly different areas of the Public & NGO sector. Lyes Tagziria (MSc Security Studies, 2016-2017) is an analyst at the Global Initiative against Transnational Organised Crime where he takes data-focused approaches to examining global organised crime. Annalena Rehkaemper (MSc GGE, 2017-2018) has held positions in the European Democracy Lab, the German Institute for Global & Area Studies and currently works as a Public Sector Consultant at PHINEO gAG focusing on strategic development, citizen participation, migration and inclusion, and digital culture in the German public sector.
