On Wedneday 11 November, POLFREE hosted a half-day event titled 'What does a Resource Efficient Europe look like? Policy options and scenarios'. Please find the slides and video footage below. 

On the 7th of May 2014 UCL&ISR hosted a stakeholder event in Brussels to discuss preliminary findings from task 1.2 on Lessons from the EU policy experiences. The event aimed to generate debate about the opportunities and challenges of the current EU policy framework on resource efficiency. Members of POLFREE’s research team and a selected mix of stakeholders, including policy-makers, industry representatives, NGO’s and academia, attended the event.

On 9th December 9th 2013 University College London Institute for Sustainable Resources (UCL ISR) and the Sustainable Europe Research Institute (SERI) jointly hosted a stakeholder workshop in Brussels as part of their work on the POLFREE project.

POLFREE held its first dissemination event in Brussels on the 19th of March 2013. The event was mainly addressed to sherpas of the European Resource Efficiency Platform (EREP), a advisory body set up by the European Commission to come up with short and long term policy recommendations in the area of resource efficiency.
