We use MRI scanners to find the area(s) of stroke damage.

  • We look for patterns by grouping people with the same areas of damage.
  • We make predictions about recovery based on what we know from the stroke survivors we have tested.
  • This includes: 1) the brain scan, 2) scores on language tests (speaking, understandingreading and writing).
  • We have built a system that can make those predictions.
  • It can also learn from new stroke survivors to keep improving the predictions.
