CPS Summer Meeting 2024 Presentation Prize Winners!

It is our great pleasure to announce the Student Presentation Prize winners from the recent CPS Summer Meeting.
We are delighted to announce the Student Presentation Prize winners from the CPS Summer Meeting held on Thursday 4th July at UCL. The review panel had a difficult task as there was a particularly high standard of talks and posters this year, so congratulations to all those who took part! The receipients are each awarded a certificate in addition to the gift voucher prizes mentioned below.
Talks
There were no eligible ECR presentations this year, so prizes for talks have been awarded in two categories:
Undergrad/Masters students
In first prize, a 50 GBP Love2Shop Voucher is awarded to:

A runner-up prize of 25 GBP Love2Shop Voucher is awarded to:

Posters

A runner-up prize of 25 GBP Love2Shop Voucher is awarded to:
- Ross Dobson (UCL MSSL, CDT-DIS): How many radial velocity observations are required to mass-characterise exoplanets?
Many congratulations to all the winners and for the excellent standard of work and presentations from all our student entries!
Thank you to the presentation prize panel: Andrew Coates, Andrew Rushby, Karen Anne Devoil, Nick Achilleos and Jo Fabbri.
There were a total of 16 talks and 9 posters with almost 40 attendees at the meeting, and it was great to see colleagues from all four CPS departments: UCL Physics and Astronomy, Earth Sciences, Space and Climate Physics (MSSL) and Birkbeck Earth and Planetary Sciences.
