MSSL Award Winners 2021: Affelia Wibisono and Yu Tao

Congratulations to CPS members, Affelia Wibisono and Yu Tao, who were both recently presented with a UCL Space and Climate Physics Award 2021.
UCL's Department of Space and Climate Physics, primarily based at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory (MSSL) in Surrey, held their annual awards this week in recognition of the outstanding achievements and contributions of staff and students at MSSL and their departmental colleagues based in London.
Those presented with awards included two CPS members: PhD student, Affelia Wibisono, and post doctoral researcher, Dr Yu Tao.
Affelia received the Elizabeth Puchnarewicz Award for Outstanding Contribution to Public Outreach for her many and varied science communications activities, and Yu received the Robert Boyd Award for Outstanding Scientific Achievement for his exceptional innovation around the areas of Martian surface 3D retrieval and Super Resolution Restoration for both Mars and the Earth. Congratulations to both of them!
