EGU 2021 Division Outstanding Early Career Scientist Award awarded to Dr William Dunn

The EGU 2021 Division Outstanding Early Career Scientist Award in the Planetary and Solar System Sciences Division has been awarded to Dr William Dunn (MSSL).

Congratulations to Dr Will Dunn (UCL MSSL) who was recently awarded the European Geosciences Union (EGU) 2021 Division Outstanding Early Career Scientist Award, in the Planetary and Solar System Sciences (PS) Division, for his outstanding contributions on understanding the morphology and driving mechanisms of Jupiter’s X-ray aurora, strong leadership in X-ray observing programs, and his generous service to outreach.

Will was one of 51 people to be awarded next year’s EGU Union Medals and Awards, Division Medals, and Division Outstanding Early Career Scientist Awards. These individuals are honoured for their important contributions to the Earth, planetary and space sciences and will be celebrated during the EGU General Assembly in April 2021.
