The 'Moon and Early Earth' conference will take place from Monday 29th to Tuesday 30th November as a virtual event, hosted by the Geological Society and co-badged by the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS).

The meeting will address multiple aspects of how exploration of the Moon can help improve understanding of our own planet. The meeting will provide an excellent opportunity to develop links between astronomy, planetary science, and geology, and is likely to be of interest to lunar scientists, geologists and geophysicists studying the early history of the Earth as a planet, and astrobiologists interested in the evolution of the habitability of our planet. It will also be of use to those interested in the future of space exploration, including policy makers, as well as members of the public. Further details can be found on the meeting webpage (link below).

Fellows of the Geological Society and RAS members are eligible to register at a reduced rate.

Please contact Prof Ian Crawford (i.crawford@bbk.ac.uk) if you have any questions about the event.
