The Exoplanet Group at UCL Astrophysics are organising an informal workshop on 27 November to discuss the nature of exoplanet K2-18b.

The Exoplanet Group at UCL Astrophysics are holding an informal workshop to discuss the nature of K2-18b and similar small gravity planets around M-dwarf stars.

Agenda

The workshop will open at 10:30 and end by 17:30.

Confirmed speakers include: Angelos Tsiaras (UCL), James Owen (Imperial College), Martin Turbet (University of Geneva), Benjamin Charney (Observatoire de Paris), Subhanjoy Mohanty (Imperial College), Giusi Micela (Osservatorio Palermo), David Waltham (Royal Holloway).

Logistics

Due to a strike at UCL, the workshop will be held in a venue very close to Russell Square (one tube stop from St Pancras station), i.e. at:

St.Giles, 154 Southampton Row, Holborn, WC1B 5JX, London.
