The APEX seminar series resumes this Thursday 5 December with a double bill by PhD students Catriona Sinclair (Cambridge) and Sam Halim (Birkbeck) about the effects of meteorite impacts on the Earth and the Moon.

This week, the Astrobiology and Planetary Exploration (APEX) meeting at 13:00 on Thursday (5 December, Garwood Lecture Theatre, UCL South Wing) will feature the following talks:

  • Catriona Sinclair (Cambridge): The effect of bombardment on the evolution of Earth's atmosphere
  • Sam Halim (BBK): Biomarker survival in terrestrial meteorites impacting the Moon
